EMAIL SETUP: Microsoft Outlook 365

In order to send and receive email using Microsoft Outlook 365, you need to setup your account as described below –

 

Automatic Outlook setup:-

  1. Open the Start menu. Search for Outlook, and choose it.
  2. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address, and select Connect.

         

  1. Enter any additional email addresses you want, such as your previous or personal email address. Select Next.
  2. If prompted, enter a password, and then select Sign in.
  3. After all of your accounts have been added, choose if you want to set up Outlook mobile or wait until later.
  4. Select Done. It may take several minutes for Outlook to download your email and other data.

Now you can view email for the accounts you added. You can also view your calendar, contacts, and tasks.

 

Manual Outlook setup:-

   1. Click on the File tab then click on the Add Account.

   

2. On the Auto Account Setup menu, select the option for Manual setup or additional server types, then click connect.

    

3. On the Choose Service menu, click the Microsoft 365 option.

    

3. You may see the sign page, insert the email address and click on Next

     

4.If prompted, enter a password, and then select Sign in.

5.After all of your accounts have been added, choose if you want to set up Outlook mobile or wait until later.

6.Select Done. It may take several minutes for Outlook to download your email and other data.

 

Now you can view email for the accounts you added. You can also view your calendar, contacts, and tasks.
